March Moods ’18

Still much of the botanical material for my work comes from the market this time of year but slowly now, my garden is starting to provide a marginally modest medley of blooms too for my moody March work.

December blooms of 2017

To get away from all the Christmas hustle and bustle I wandered into my winter garden. We had had a touch of frost here and there at night times but nothing too harsh for these hardy December blooms. I gathered all the flowers I  could find and started hunting for a big  blue vase to create a decidedly un-christmass-y arrangement, which ended up being just the ticket for my bah humbug blues.
